This paint-your-own pottery studio has been at this location in Naples for two years in August. I need to get out more, because I am finding such cool places.

You don't need any artistic ability to create your one-of-a-kind project. The studio has everything you need to create a hand-painted gift for any occasion ... even design tools to help you along.

There are many items to choose from including all kinds of plates, bowls, mugs, salt and pepper sets, cappuccino sets, even piggy banks. Prices range from $8 to $80 with an $8 studio fee for adults. For the kids, there are all kinds of figures they can easily paint -- from mermaids, cats, dogs and more. The kids charge is $15 to $20 with a $6 studio fee.

Pottery by You provides everything from stamps, stencils, sponges, all the paints, even idea books. They will give you a little coaching and a lot of encouragement! It is easy and fun! Just choose your piece, pick your design, select your colors and create your masterpiece. They will fire it for you and you go back to pick it up.

Kids love painting pottery, they will help you put the art in party by offering birthday parties, scout groups, school field trips and summer vacation fun. For a birthday party kids choose from the extensive selection of children's pieces or let each child paint the same piece. Two packages are offered: one for $20 per child or $25 per child and the birthday boy or girl will receive a personalized plate with all their guests signatures on it. It offers a creative environment with two hours of party time. There is a minimum of six children.
