Eat out on the cheap all summer long

Season is over, the heat of summer is upon us and restaurants around the area are begging for customers. Take advantage of these deals and sparse crowds to enjoy the best of Southwest Florida's cuisine and save money in the process!

Arturo’s Italian Ristorante, 844 Bald Eagle Drive, Marco Island, has the following summer specials:

-- Two for Tuesday: Any two drinks for the price of one all night.

-- Working Wednesday: 20 percent off your bill for anyone who works.

-- Tender Loving Thursday: Arturo’s signature stuffed pork chop, a glass of wine and dessert for $25.

-- No Time to Dine: 25 percent off take out orders every night.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 8985 U.S. 41 N., Naples, will have a summer menu June 24 through Sept. 22 in addition to its regular menu. The cost of $33.95 includes a choice of one of three entrees with a side dish, one of two salads and dessert. Information and reservations: 598-2424.

HB’s on the Gulf at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club, 851 Gulf Shore Blvd., Naples, has a new summer menu that is being offered from 5 to 6:30 p.m. everyday. The menu features entree portions of 5 to 6 ounces in the price range of $16 to $24. You can add a glass of Leaping Horse Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot for an additional $3. Rivals Sports Kitchen at Miromar Outlets, 10801 Corkscrew Road Estero, has the following specials:

-- Purchase a kids meal during June and the kids get free tokens to use in the play area.

-- Sunday brunch is now being served from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and breakfast is available 9:45 a.m. to noon Mondays to Fridays.

-- Happy hour is 3 to 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close from Monday to Friday with 12-ounce domestic beers costing $1, well drinks and house shots $2 and a glass of house wine is $3.

Roy’s, 475 Bayfront Place, Naples and The Promenade, 26831 South Bay Drive, Bonita Springs, will have a three course summer price-fixed menu starting Tuesday for $35. You have the choice of three appetizers, four entrees and two desserts. Information: 261-1416, Naples and 498-7697, Bontia Springs.

The Grill at the Ritz-Carlton Naples, 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples, has launched a new cocktail menu with the following selections:

-- Sun and Sand: a modern update of a World War I classic.

-- Summer Negroni: has a citrus and honey flavor.

-- Bronx: one of the most popular drinks of the Prohibition.

-- Philharmonic: classy, sophisticated and striking.

-- Caribbean: refreshing and strong.

-- Sazerac Cocktail: considered the first major cocktail, made a debut in 1860 in New Orleans.

-- Grill Old-Fashioned: elegant and slightly sweet with brandied cherries and spicy Kentucky bourbon.

The cocktails are made with fresh juices and all twists are cut to order. Information: 598-3300.
