Scenes on the Bay open for business
Posted June 19, 2008
Scenes on the Bay, a new waterfront restaurant, has opened at Bayfront off Goodlette-Frank Road near U.S. 41 in Naples.
It offers international cuisine overlooking Naples Bay. A dozen plasma television screens are located throughout the restaurant, with movie posters scattered about the blue-green walls. The co-owners are Chris Cioffi and Kevin Stoneburner.
“Film and sports are sources of popular entertainment and powerful methods for educating and entertaining people,” Cioffi said in a news release.
“We believe fusing film, sports and food in a comfortable, casual waterfront setting will attract residents and tourists.”
Large windows allow expanded views of Naples Bay.
Specialties include tuna tartare served with wasabi “cusabi” sauce, and a classical surf and turf with shrimp and Mediterranean salmon.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner.
