CELEBRATE WITH US
Let others share in your life celebrations and events by placing an announcement in the Daily News' "Celebrations" section. To place your announcement fill out our online forms here on our Celebrations page or call 239-403-6161.
This new section runs every Sunday in the newspaper to announce local engagements, weddings, anniversaries and births. Due to space limitations in the past when these announcements were published, the number of photographs and the details of an engagement or a wedding were limited to a few inches of type, and anniversaries were restricted to 10-year, 25-year and 50-year milestones. There will be no limits with "Celebrations."
Every paid announcement in "Celebrations" can include a full-color photo and offer residents the chance to write as much - or as little - as they wish based on the size of the announcement they choose.
In addition, the new feature expands upon the traditional newspaper categories available by offering announcements for birthdays, graduations, promotions and any other wonderful life events.
"Celebrations" will welcome anything and everything that makes life special for readers.
Deadline is Noon on the Tuesday prior to the publication date.
