The Downtown Farmers' Market organized approximately 14 years ago provides convenient, inexpensive, market facilities for local famers and vendors to sell their products at reasonable prices. The Downtown Fort Myers Market, even today, remains a year-round “green” market.Fruits, vegetables, fresh flowers, local seafood, plants, palms, fruit trees, flowering shrubs, and doggie treats are available. From October through May, other products and commodities may be added.The Market opens every Thursday at 7:00 am until 2:00 pm, October through May and 7:00 am until 1:00 pm June through September. The Market is located in the Centennial Park parking lot, under the U.S. 41 Caloosahatchee Bridge, at the corner of Heitman and West First Streets. (behind the US Post Office located at 1500 Monroe Street).
