Blades announce changes to road schedule

The Florida Everblades announced today several changes to road games on their 2008-09 schedule. The changes will not affect the 2008-09 home schedule in any way.

The changes to the road portion of the schedule are as follows:

Two dates have been removed completely from the schedule. The Tuesday, Oct. 28 game scheduled at Gwinnett and the Sunday, Nov. 2 game scheduled at South Carolina have been removed.

The two dates that have been added to replace those games are: Monday, Nov. 3 the Everblades will now play at Gwinnett, and Sunday, Jan. 18 the Everblades will now play at Charlotte.

The other changes don't affect dates, but opponents:

On Saturday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Feb. 7, the Everblades will now play at South Carolina instead of at Charlotte.

    Since March 6, coyotes have been fingered in a string of attacks against dogs, cats and goats in Lee and Collier counties. Coyotes have killed three small dogs, injured three others, and caused a man who came into contact with the coyote’s saliva and a woman who was bitten by one to have rabies shots.
