Summer sales

-- Cottontails, a children’s apparel and accessories store, is having a 50 percent off summer sale. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and is located at Fountain Park Centre, 7935 Airport-Pulling Road, Naples.

Pasta making and dinner

Naples Tomato, 14700 U.S. 41 N., Naples, offers up their pasta chef for a private lesson and dinner for a minimum of eight people and a maximum of 10 people at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Sept. 26. Dinner includes antipasto, two pasta courses, and a dessert platter. The cost is $35 or $50 per person depending on course choice. Information and reservations: 598-9800

Shop for a cause

Buy a $5 ticket for a local charity of your choice at Macy’s, Coastland Center, 1800 U.S. 41 N., Naples, and on Sept. 20 you will receive 20 percent off most men’s, women’s, children’s and accessory items and 10 percent on most home items. Information: 434-1300

New store coming

St. John, the luxury knit company, arrives in December at Waterside Shops, 5415 U.S. 41 N., Naples.

New web site

Naples Botanical Garden has a new web site at www.naplesgarden.org that features construction photos and allows visitors to track the progress of the Garden’s expansion. The garden is located at 4820 Bayshore Drive, Naples, and will reopen in November 2010. There are special visiting days that requires pre-registration. Information: 643-7275

Seminole narratives

Whole Foods Market, 9101 Strada Palce, Naples, is displaying Seminole inspired artwork by two local artists in its cafe. The nine patchwork wall hangings are by Che-ke-ka Jackson and the colorful batik paintings are by Muffy Clark Gill. Information: 552-5100
