Pasta making and dinner

Naples Tomato, 14700 U.S. 41 N., Naples, offers up their pasta chef for a private lesson and dinner for a minimum of eight people and a maximum of 10 people at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Sept. 26. New store coming

New web site

Naples Botanical Garden has a new web site at www.naplesgarden.org that features construction photos and allows visitors to track the progress of the Garden’s expansion. The garden is located at 4820 Bayshore Drive, Naples, and will reopen in November 2010. There are special visiting days that requires pre-registration. Information: 643-7275

Seminole narratives

Whole Foods Market, 9101 Strada Palce, Naples, is displaying Seminole inspired artwork by two local artists in its cafe. The nine patchwork wall hangings are by Che-ke-ka Jackson and the colorful batik paintings are by Muffy Clark Gill. Information: 552-5100
