Battery arrests

■ Miriah Elizabeth Apel and Pablo Antonio Hernandez, both 25 and of the 28000 block of West Brook Drive, Bonita Springs, were arrested Monday by Lee deputies at home. They were each charged with battery/domestic violence. They are accused of hitting each other during an argument about living arrangements.

■ Ernest Michael Newman, 52, of the18000 block of Bartow Boulevard, Fort Myers, was arrested Monday by Lee deputies at home. He was charged with battery/domestic violence and resisting arrest without violence. He is accused of hitting his 45-year-old girlfriend of 10 years during an argument about her not allowing him to have some cigarettes, constantly asking deputies why he was being arrested and failure to comply with deputies attempting to arrest him.

■ A teenage boy who lives in the 18000 block of Oriole Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Monday by Lee deputies at home. He is charged with battery/domestic violence. He is accused of hitting his mother in the face with his fist after she attempted five times to awaken him and after she threatened to take the bedroom door off the hinge.

Grand theft arrests

■ Three desktop computers with a total value of $9,000 were reported stolen Monday from the 25000 block of Bernwood Drive in Bonita Springs.

■ Tires and lug nuts from a 2001 Chevrolet with a total value of $1,400, and a $350 spare tire from another vehicle were reported stolen Monday from Rice Insulation and Glass in the 8900 block of Quality Road in Bonita Springs.

■ A stove valued at $600 was reported stolen Monday from the 9800 block of Delaware Street in Bonita Springs.

■ A wallet and cash with a total value of more than $600 were reported stolen Monday from the 11000 block of Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs.

■ A washer and dryer and window with a total value of $1,100 were reported stolen Monday from two houses under construction in the 21000 block of Bella Terra Boulevard in Estero.

■ An iPod and cell phone with a total value of $300 were reported stolen Monday from the 18000 block of Lee Road in Fort Myers.

■ Four gold rings with a total value of more than $300 were reported stolen Monday from the 13000 block of Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs.
