Back from vacation

Taste of Chicago in Green Tree Center, 2366 Immokalee Road, Naples, reopens today after being closed last week for the holidays. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and will now serve gyros, chicken nuggets, ham, turkey and chicken wraps. Information: 239-431-5439.

New menu

Fred’s Food, Fun & Spirits has a new winter menu with tapas selections that include oysters Rockefeller, Montrachet goat cheese dip, rock shrimp risotto and little clams with white wine sauce. The soup additions are lobster bisque, pasta fagioli and Tuscan vegetable, and the new dinner entrees are pasta putanesca, seafood pasta, Chilean sea bass, pork tenderloin and the return of jumbo lump crab cakes. Gordon’s at Naples Harbour will open on Jan. 4 and will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays at 475 North Road, Naples. The restaurant will have the ambience of a private supper club with entertainment, and will be serving traditional steak and seafood dishes along with chef specials. Texas grilled cheese

Dunkin’ Donuts is serving its new Texas Toast Grilled Cheese Sandwich made with two slices of American cheese and one slice of white cheddar cheese melted between two pieces of thick-cut bread served oven toasted. Bacon or ham may be added to the sandwich.
