NAPLES — University of Illinois football coach Tim Beckman and athletic director Mike Thomas will be in Naples for a Greater Naples Illini Club event this month at Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club.
The event is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17. Admission is $30, with a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres.
Both Beckman and Thomas are new faces to Illini faithful. Thomas was athletic director at Cincinnati before behind hired by Illinois in August. Beckman was hired in December after three years at Toledo.
