Two East Naples men are accused of selling crack cocaine to undercover deputies on numerous occasions.
Jakhari Durden, 22, and Jonathon Wright, 19, of the 3100 block of U.S. 41 East were arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at home.
According to arrest reports, on Dec. 14 Durden and Wright met with undercover deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s office Vice and Narcotics Bureau outside of a retail store located at the 30 block of Golden Gate Boulevard West. Durden and Wright then sold 5.64 grams of crack cocaine to the deputies in exchange for investigative funds.
Undercover deputies said that Durden and Wright met with them a second time on Jan. 13, this time at their home. Wright gave the undercover deputy 4.32 grams of crack cocaine in exchange for investigative funds, according to reports.
Deputies said during this transaction Durden was present acting as a look out.
On Jan. 19 undercover deputies met with the two men again at their home, this time purchasing 4.9 grams of crack cocaine, according to reports.
Deputies said on Thursday they arrived at Durden and Wright’s home and served them with a search warrant. During their search, deputies located 42 oxycodone tablets, 15 grams of suspect cocaine, a small trace of marijuana and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, according to reports.
Both faces felony charges of trafficking opium, two counts of sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams, and drug paraphernalia possession.
