'Chaos!'
After 20 debates and four primaries, we have learned the "mantra" of the Republican Party is, besides the utmost goal to make President Barack Obama a one-term president, their call for "less government" coupled with "less regulations."
Sounds like a petulant teenager rebelling against parental control!
Just think of allowing everyone to do their thing while growing up — the behind-the-scenes "moneyed relatives" undermining parental controls allowing free reign to uninformed young adults. Chaos!
Obviously, this is a very simple description for a profound deeply troubling problem. Without controls (regulations, safeguards, etc.) no government can survive, as can no household!
We must take control of the principles that formed this great nation. "All men are created equal" does not say only outrageous amounts of money form the precepts of our governing; but that is exactly what we are witnessing with the obscene amounts of funds behind this primary season and continuing through a general election.
Beware of taking funds from sources with no transparency; you have no idea their purposes to finance any of this.
Seems the primary object is to destroy the middle class and foster a government for the "haves" and the "have-mores"!
I say to my fellow Americans, most particularly Republicans, "be careful, what you wish for, you may get it" and we all will suffer!

Sadly, it’s the same weakness of character that puts making a black man a one term president, ahead of country, as defending campaign spending from any source and amount and not understanding the motive.
Character and integrity get trampled in time of war or imminent disaster because of higher purposes such as survival or the greater good. We have devolved political expedience and personal preference meriting such intensity of purpose. I maintain it is such careless indulgences that precipitate civil wars. It devalues individuals into the other or less than human.
To be anti regulation or rules and changing them to fit a changing world is not unlike being anti constitution or philosophical and religious morality.

The GOP is wrestling with a hard choice. Try to drag down the democratic party in the public's opinion to below that of the republicans, "lie whine and blame", or go through the painful house cleaning necessary to return to competence.
They are, unfortunately stuck with the former option until Nov as they didn't get started on the latter, in time for 2012.
Anther example of how their policy of indecision and inaction just doesn't work in the real world.
