28th Annual Spring Parade of Homes opens Saturday at Lely Resort

The 28th Annual Single Site Parade of Homes will open Saturday, Feb. 4 at Lely Resort. Stock Development, in conjunction with the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA), is hosting the event.

The Parade of Homes displays the latest residential trends in Collier County markets, including building technologies, interior merchandising trends, and landscape designs. Each year it attracts thousands of visitors.

The Parade will run Saturday, Feb. 4, Sunday, Feb. 5 and Saturday, Feb. 11, Sunday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There are 26 models that have been furnished by 12 interior designers in seven neighborhoods. The entry fee is $5 with proceeds going to the CBIA Foundation.

These models have been built by luxury homebuilders Lundstrom Development, Cordoba Development and Stock Construction.

"Lely Resort offers a residential design for everyone, from 1,200-square-foot flats to 5,000-plus-square-foot estate homes," said Tim Clark, vice president of sales. "We have furnished models open in every neighborhood as well as homes available for immediate occupancy in seven neighborhoods priced from the $180s to more than $1 million. They are available as flats, townhomes, casitas, coach homes, twin villas, several series of single-family homes and custom-built estate homes."

Lely Resort earned its fourth consecutive Community of the Year award from CBIA in 2011. The community boasts Naples' most comprehensive golf program. Residents live within steps of three golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., Lee Trevino and Gary Player, as well as two golf clubhouses.

Stock is undertaking a two-year expansion plan that will increase the size of the Players Club & Spa. The Players Club & Spa provides non-golfers with activities coordinated by a full-time staff, saunas and whirlpools and a fitness center.

Outside is a 7,500-square-foot resort-style swimming pool plus a 2,500-square-foot exercise and lap pool with cabanas. There is also a new full kitchen at the Tiki Bar, which has seven 50-inch flat screen TVs for sporting events. The tennis facility features seven, Har-Tru tennis courts and a private tennis pro shop. Bark Park is for the exclusive use of members who are dog owners.
