The Florida Gulf Coast University men's golf team has some work to do in its first spring tournament of the season.
The Eagles shot a 308 and a 313, and sit in ninth place after two rounds of the Sea Best Invitational hosted by Jacksonville at the TPC at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach on Monday.
Senior Brandon Pena fired a 70 and a 73, and is in second place overall. Alex Medinis is tied for 18th after a 77 and 74, and freshman Jack Hernandez is tied for 36th after a 75 and 81. Jeremy Self shot 86-88, and senior Niklas Ahola shot 89-85. Both are tied for 67th.
The tournament wraps up with 18 holes Tuesday.
