Naples Botanical Garden, 4820 Bayshore Drive, Naples, offers many events for a wide variety of interests. All events require membership or regular admission prices: $12.95 adults, $7.95 ages 4-14; free members and ages younger than 4. For more information on each event or to register for a class, call 239-643-7275 or visit naplesgarden.org. Here's what's happening this week:

Saturday

n Catch & Release at the Garden Lakes, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. — Enjoy some bonding time with dad this weekend at the Garden! Our lakes will be open for fishing and fun. Don't forget to bring your own fishing supplies and plan for an exciting day of fishing. The main fishing will take place right behind the Kapnick Caribbean Garden. Staff and volunteers will be around from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. to help visitors. Regular Garden admission; free for members.

n SNAP IT UP! Photography Workshop: Flowers and Macro Photography with Dennis Goodman; 8-10:30 a.m. — Take advantage of this exciting opportunity to join Naples wildlife and nature photographer Dennis Goodman for a hands-on workshop. This class will focus on the smaller side of the Garden. Dennis will work with each participant on camera settings, composition, bracketing, backgrounds, lighting and some HDR techniques out in the Gardens. This class is limited to 12 participants. n Great Family Event–WONDER Program themed around Bees, including crafts and story reading, in the Smith Children's Garden: 10:30 a.m.

Sunday

n Father's Day at the Garden; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. — Fathers/Grandfathers accompanied by children receive free admission to the Garden.

n Survivor Man Tour led by Chad Washburn; 9 a.m. — Join us for a tour of the native plants of the Garden's Smith Uplands Preserve. This walking tour, suitable for both kids and adults, will explore the ethnobotanical uses of plants, ranging from baskets and fishing aids to fuel and food. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately. Regular Garden admission; free for members.

n Summer Picnic/Concert Series — The Sarah Mac Band; 11 a.m.-2 p.m. — Pack up your picnic basket and enjoy a musical performance by The Sarah Mac Band. Claire, Charlie and Sarah Mac joined together in early 2005 aspiring to create original music that blended the unique styles each brought to the group. What emerged was an engaging combination of blues, jazz and acoustic rock that has been classified as both Americana and Alternative. The band simply describes the sound as "jazzy, bluesy, rock with a healthy dose of soul." You don't want to miss this! Regular Garden admission; free for members.

n Dogs in the Garden Walk: 9-11 a.m.; $7.95 for nonmember dogs

n Plant Clinic with Collier County Master Gardeners at the Visitor Center: 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.; Free

n Dogs in the Garden Walk: 3-5 p.m.; $7.95 nonmember dogs
