Deputies on lookout for shooter

Around 3:20 p.m., two or three shots were fired at a house on the 3300 block of Estey Avenue, Collier County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Karie Partington said.

At least one person was inside the house, but no one was injured. Investigators have not yet named a suspect or said if the shooter was inside a vehicle or on foot, Partington said.

As of late Monday, the investigation was ongoing.

Really bothers me that shots were fired on a road where there are two schools across the street and a few day care centers close by and noone notified these places so they could keep the kids safe. Instead children are walking home right past the crime scene and the day care kids are outside playing.
