— The Three Oaks Middle School boys tennis team cruised past Dunbar Middle, 4-1, in a Lee County Middle School South Regional first round playoff match on Thursday.

Playing across the street from its school, Three Oaks swept all three singles matches at the Three Oaks Tennis Center.

Three Oaks’ No. 1 player Gabe Trank and No. 3 player Hogan Long remained undefeated this season. Trank won his match 5-0 while Long won 5-1. Nolan Nowak also had an impressive win at No. 2 singles (5-1) as did the No. 1 doubles team of JJ Wocjicki and Kevin Short.

Three Oaks, which is 4-0, will meet Veterans Park on Monday in a regional final at Lehigh High School. The winner advances to the county final on Tuesday.
