Charlie Crist has announced a new economic stimulus plan — Accelerate Florida — and called for state agency heads to spend nearly $30 billion in approved construction funds to jump-start Florida’s sluggish economy. At his press conference announcing the plan, Crist said, “That’s dough that’s got to go.” Central Florida leaders are asking the governor to make sure that Central Florida Commuter Rail is at the top of that list.     Since March 6, coyotes have been fingered in a string of attacks against dogs, cats and goats in Lee and Collier counties. Coyotes have killed three small dogs, injured three others, and caused a man who came into contact with the coyote’s saliva and a woman who was bitten by one to have rabies shots.
