Everglades City Fourth of July parade

Dolly Geffert, center, Robert Lloyd, left, and others from the four different camps of the Sons of Confederate Veterans wait on their float before the start of the Everglades City Fourth of July parade on Sunday, July 6, 2008. The group won best swamp buggy and best float, which is the first time in the history of the parade that both awards were given to the same participant. About 20 floats were involved in the parade and fireworks were scheduled for 9 p.m.
