  • 37 inch blacktip shark, caught off of Marco Island by 10-year-old Sam Stecher. Sam made the catch while fishing on March 16, during a visit with his grandparents.
  • Wilson Sullivan, 13, landed a 12 pound snook while fishing near Marco Island on March 20 with Steve Westervelt.
  • Darcy and Amanda caught this snook on a shiner while kayaking in Clam Pass.

Sorry, but this is bull. The St. Lucia does not have the bluewater backdrop shown in this pic. Nor would a 25' deep wreck Gulfside ever host such a fish.

I'm quite familiar with sailfishing in this area, and though it is rare, the early spring migration often brings them into the shallow Gulf Waters.
