Description: Lansdowne Street — so named for the eponymous street behind Fenway Park — is the newest New England-style pub in the area. Modeled after a popular Beacon Hill enclave, The Sevens, Lansdowne Street, is outfitted with plenty of televisions and league passes for Red Sox and Patriots games and is cozily decorated in rich, dark wood. For an extra dose of New England nostalgia, a real working fireplace roars in the corner near the bar.

Sox fans will appreciate the near-ubiquitous team memorabilia scattered throughout the establishment, including a full-wall replica of the infamous Green Monster, complete with a scoreboard and a foul pole. Behind the bar, a large image of Sox catcher and team captain Jason Varitek smashing his glove in the face of New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, a sign that visitors are squarely in Red Sox territory.

On the menu: Plenty of sandwiches, salads and New England-style fare abound, including traditional lobster rolls, clam chowder and Boston baked beans. The open kitchen (it’s right behind the bar) has no grill or deep fryer, the menu includes plenty of panini, build-your-own hot dogs and other hot items. And of course, all menu items are named after landmarks or streets in Boston, including a pastrami-and-swiss concoction called Yawkey Way, the famous home of Fenway Park.

The bar serves beer and wine, and features 48 beers on tap and nearly 50 wines, with at least 15 of them available by the glass. For sports fans, a television is visible from nearly every seat in the house. Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.
