Live bait becomes more available and the fish will actually eat those baits.  Also in this transition month, tarpon are known to lay up in the shallows of protected bays warming in the sun. Well, as I write, this we have experienced yet another cold front.

With most days being windy and tending toward the cool side it would seem that the fish would be hard to find and harder to catch, but most all the areas report decent catches. Water quality ranges from really clear to muddy depending on wind direction and the amount of protection you can find.
