Waive contractual language? How about the Board waive's Thompson's contract when it's convienent. In the end, the CCEA is a poorly run union that isn't accomplishing anything for it's members, the teachers are between a rock and a hard place.

#12 and #14 are right in both instances, whether we like it or not, all the money issues are not Thompson's fault alone but then again his customer service skills are horrific and yes that is part of the job....if I'm gonna pay big bucks then I want the complete package of a high quality Super, not the Mario Bros version.

Thompson will blow this off also and this incredibly incompetent board won't question him, why was the YRD Deputy not filing a trespass warning on this woman if she was a known problem? If I were the parents of the child who was attacked, I'd be standing on Thompson's desk right about now....

#8/#20 are dead on, why is this not being addressed? That particular principal if he/she had prior knowledge of this issue and took no steps to stop this woman and I use the term loosely, should be fired and so should Thompson if this is how he secures the schools, there is a really big underlying problem here that shouldn't be dismissed.

There was no real need to take action until the Board voted, there are steps to these processes. CCPS should have at least done a buy out for the senior custodians so they could receive a pension instead of just tossing them in the street, Thompson will do alot more damage before a new board fires him.....he is really just a reflection of an incompetent board.
