The Barron Collier Band and Dancers entertained Sarah Palin (a candidate, NOT an elected official) at Germain Arena today. OUR tax dollars paid for Collier County School buses and drivers to transport the students up there and back. There is something terribly WRONG with this picture. As a Collier County taxpayer, I strongly object to this expenditure for purely partisan purposes.

I was in the end zone with the Shark Band. That field goal was SO not good. Wide right. No doubt. But GCHS players can be very proud of their efforts. Definitely a moral victory.

I agree 100% with BlackCat and FloodGate. OPEN UP THE PELICAN BAY BEACH TO THE PUBLIC ... hmmm, what a concept ... a public beach. Imagine, Pelican Bay residents rubbing shoulders with the common man ... yikes !

Of course the 54 seniors at CSN are getting a fabulous education. At $20,000 a pop for tuition, they darn well BETTER be. DUH !!!

There are people dying in this country because they cannot afford healthcare and these folks spent $40 million on a boat to display art? If you are not ashamed, you are not paying attention.
On North Naples couple docks 228-foot art boat but hopes to send it out to sea in June

CONGRATULATIONS to all the Collier County students who have voiced their opinion regarding the proposed change in scheduling. Please follow-up by attending the School Board Meeting today. Hopefully, reason and democracy will prevail and the 4 x 4 block schedule, which works so well, will be retained.

Impressive. Now check and see how many of the girls on the team actually live in the Barron Collier school zone. Can you say recruiting ? I can.

I concur with rotaylor55, prayer belongs in church or at home ... NOT at a public meeting.
