Local dog trainer Jeannie Bates spent nearly two years training a service dog named Cody Bear to donate to U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Benjamin "Ty" Edwards. Edwards was wounded serving in Afghanistan.

Amazing video. Jeanie Bates, you have done another great job that will change that family's life forever. David Albers, you captured this story perfectly. I am sorry that it is just a video. It should have been a NDN story with pictures in addition to the video. There are too many of these veterans coming back that we need to thank and be grateful for their service!
