Valentina Visan shares her recipe for Ukrainian vareniki in the kitchen of St. Demetrius Orthodox Church. The potato filled pasta is boiled and topped with sauted onions. Her church will host a ethnic food festival featuring a variety of delicacies on Feb. 26-27 from noon until five.

Beautiful!!! Thank you...such hard work too! I grew up in N. Jersey and we had Polish neighbors who would make their own potato & onion pierogies...we died over how delicious they were!
