Damas asks to represent himself

Accused family killer Mesac Damas was in court Friday at a status hearing focused on whether or not he is competent to be part of his defense. During the hearing Damas asked Collier County Circuit Judge Franklin Baker if he could represent himself.

THIS REALLY IS A MURDER CASE THAT BOTHERS ME AND ANY ONE WITH A HEART. FAMILY KILLED BY THE "MAN OF THE HOUSE"..THAT IS JUST TOO MUCH. THIS ANIMAL IS OBVIOUSLY GOING FOR AN INSANITY DEFENSE AND ANYONE WHO DOES NOT SEE THAT IS A FOOL. HE KILLED HIS ENTIRE FAMILY!!! REALLY??!! LET HIM REPRESENT HIMSELF AND GIVE HIM THE DEATH PENALTY!! GET THIS OVER WITH ALREADY!!!
