Election 2010: PRO - Golden Gate Shopping Center Straw Vote

Rich Yovanovich, chairman of Supporters of Estates Shopping, explains why he supports the proposed shopping center at the northwest corner of Golden Gate and Wilson boulevards. Area residents will be asked in a straw vote on the Nov. 2 general election ballot whether the community’s master plan should be changed to allow the project. The vote isn’t binding. It’s meant only to gauge how surrounding residents feel about the developer’s plans.
