Sheriff Rambosk on Damas homicides

Published Sept. 21, 2009

Collier County Sheriff Kevin Rambosk offered the latest information in the Damas homicides during a Monday morning press conference. Rambosk said they are still interested in locating Mesac Damas, the father of the five children and husband of the woman found dead in North Naples. The Sheriff’s Office is working with FBI and ICE to locate Damas, who is believed to be in Haiti. Rambosk also asked members of the community to share any information they may have regarding the location of the perpetrator of this crime. During the second half of the interview a woman can be heard protesting the Sheriff’s Office outside the press conference room. At the end of the conference, Rambosk said the disruption was “rude,” especially because this is such a difficult and traumatic investigation.
